Chorao Island in Goa has gained popularity among tourists recently and the mangroves here are often explored. This painting is from a photo shot from within the mangrove cover and was a secluded spot in an otherwise busy environment. 
 
 Mr. Stephen D'Lima from Mumbai bought this painting, and has kindly agreed to have his thoughts posted here: "Here again, the rawness of nature appeals. Marshes and mangroves are under appreciated wetlands so critical for our environment and the painting wonderfully contrasted the somberness of the brown earth, trunks, and branches with the brightness of the green leaves."
